Going for dinner in Liverpool Street can be as luxurious or chilled-out as you choose to make it, but if you do fancy a meal that fits into the latter camp, then there are a host of impeccable restaurants housed at the top of skyscrapers which promise excellent views as part of their dining offering. You’ll even find a fair selection of Michelin-starred restaurants just a stone’s throw away from Liverpool Street for a guaranteed-to-be-excellent meal. From smart business lunches to luxurious celebratory dinners, Liverpool Street’s restaurants have it covered.  

But, if all you‘re really in the mood for is a bite to eat while you catch up with a friend, then head over to the Broadgate development around the back of Liverpool Street Station to find a ton of casual spots, from pizza and ramen through to burgers from everyone’s favourite chains. Or head east to Spitalfields Market, which is a only a short walk away, and champions a host of independent street food vendors. It’s a great spot for alfresco dining during the warmer months and means there’s plenty of choice for everyone.
