A busy street in Liverpool, Bold Street is known for its many independent businesses that are popular with tourists and those looking to check out the best of local. The iconic St Luke's Church sits at the top of Bold Street, and is known as The Bombed Out Church – which suffered catastrophic damage during the May Blitz of 1941, where only the exterior masonry was left standing. Now, weddings are held here, and there's a gorgeous garden bar and cafe. At the bottom end of Bold Street, you'll find the areas surrounding Clayton Square, which is part of the main retail hub of the city centre.
