Located in the centre of Liverpool, close to both Lime Street station and the Clayton Square Shopping Centre, Bella Italia is a great family-friendly British Italian restaurant. It is open from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, and has a range of great offers throughout the week. The Liverpool location is known for having particularly friendly staff and great service.
As well as offering bottomless brunch at weekends, Bella Italia also serves bottomless pizza from Monday to Thursday for just £12. You can mix and match any pizza from the menu, and there is a reduced price of £7 for children under 11. For bottomless ‘brunch’, at weekends diners can enjoy two courses of the set brunch menu with bottomless Prosecco. The brunch is more of a ‘linner’, as it features favourites from Bella Italia’s main menu - think dough balls, arancini, carbonara and lasagne - rather than more traditional brunch favourites. However, it’s definitely a great option for anyone who has always wanted to enjoy pizza for breakfast.
The main menu focuses on comforting and nostalgic Italian favourites. From dough balls to meatballs, you can probably find your favourite British Italian dishes at Bella Italia. The pastas in the main section include carbonara, lasagne and bolognese. All the pasta, apart from the lasagne, can also be made gluten free, as can the pizzas. If you’re a fan of carbonara and looking to try something new, give the cacio e pepe a try. This is a traditional Roman dish of pasta served with a creamy pecorino and black pepper sauce, which at Bella Italia is rather unusually topped with pistachios. The pizzas at Bella Italia are rolled out moderately thin, and come with a selection of traditional British Italian toppings, like pepperoni or mushrooms. Round off your meal with a tiramisu, or the slightly less traditional option of rainbow sprinkle and mini marshmallow covered ice cream sandwiches.
