Fortnum & Mason are launching a ‘Chapel of Love’ installation at their flagship store in Piccadilly, just in time for Valentine's Day.
Couples can get legally married in the romantic chapel installation as Fortnum & Mason is a fully licensed wedding venue. If you fancy being part of a unique experience you’ll have to act swiftly, as the unique immersive pop-up, on the lower ground floor of the upmarket department store will only be around for a limited amount of time. Partners can also get engaged, celebrate an anniversary, or renew their vows in the impressive 14-metre installation if a full wedding doesn't appeal.
The installation will feature Fortnum’s signature clock and be enclosed by pretty stained glass-windows, which will illuminate the chapel in a colourful glow. The love fest will be enhanced by a neon pink sign and a wedding bell to help ring in the celebrations.
It will be Fortnum’s first wedding installation in the department store’s 313 year-old history, the likes of which has never been done before in London. The celebration of love continues throughout the three floors of the shop, as the stunning design stretches from the lower to the second floor.

The pop-up is open for the public to use from the 1 February to 29 February, although it may be rather busy on Valentine’s Day. Fortnum & Mason are well-known for going all out with the décor and festivities around special holidays, so this dedicated Chapel of Love will bring some cheer to the wintry month of February.
There is also a competition running for couples to win a pampering package, replete with a ceremony in the Chapel of Love and a special afternoon tea in the Diamond Jubilee tea salon.
