The glamorous wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant could be set to continue in the UK, with seven star Stoke Park Hotel near Slough lined up to host the next two months of celebrations for the newly wedded couple.

The world’s most expensive wedding has grabbed all the headlines in recent months. First, the couple threw a three day pre-wedding party, at which Rihanna performed to an A-list crowd. After that they took 800 guests about their luxury cruise liner for a no-expense-spared trip from Palermo to Portofino, which featured performances by Katy Perry and The Backstreet Boys.

The couple tied the knot on the weekend of 12 July in Jamnagar, India, with a star-studded cast of celebrities and world figures in attendance that included Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Sir Tony Blair, David Beckham and Boris Johnson.

Now the celebrations are reportedly set to continue in the UK, with the couple jetting in for another two months of post-wedding partying. Father of the groom Mukesh Ambani - the richest man in India and the owner of Stoke Park - has booked the famous seven star Berkshire hotel in preparation according to news broken by The Sun

Johnson is rumoured to be on the guest list for the celebrations at Stoke Park also, as are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Reportedly, the festivities at Stoke Park will last until September, with members of the Grade II listed golf club being warned to stay away from the hotel whilst the private celebration is taking place. However, Stoke Park's Instagram account has since posted, stating that 'there are no wedding celebrations planned at the estate this summer.'

This isn't the first time Mukesh Ambani has clashed with locals, and some have questioned whether the Ambani family is planning to use the historic hotel as a private residence. This would break the terms of the estate’s leasehold agreement, which specifies that Stoke Park must be used as a commercial property. Legal squabbles will no doubt be ongoing if the Ambanis private wedding party goes ahead, but for now, the world is eager to get a behind the scenes look at the latest stage of the world’s most expensive wedding.
