10 celebrity weddings to look out for in 2024

2023 was a big year for romance, with a record-breaking number of celebrity engagements hitting the headlines. Last year, there were numerous big names who announced their exciting news to the world, including Rebel Wilson, Nicole Scherzinger, and Millie Bobby Brown, to name a few. There are also several A-listers who have been planning their weddings for a few years now, so we're anticipating 2024 to be a huge year for celebrity weddings.

Naturally, we expect a celebrity wedding to be a little more lavish than a regular affair. We're talking breathtaking brides in designer gowns, decadent banquets, high-profile guest lists and only the most opulent destinations. Nicole Scherzinger & Thom Evans

The lead singer of iconic US girl group The Pussycat Dolls announced her engagement to partner Thom Evans in June 2023. The couple first connected back in 2019 during filming for The X Factor. The news of their engagement followed after just three years of dating, with Thom alleged to have proposed on a sandy beach whilst the couple enjoyed a holiday together. Maybe they're considering a beach wedding venue? Let's hope 2024 brings us an answer.

Vicky Pattison & Ercan Ram

British TV personality Vicky Pattison announced her engagement to her then boyfriend, Ercan Ramadan, during a trip to Dubai in February 2022. Despite the fact her plans are still yet to be announced, we can confirm that Vicky is completely absorbed with her wedding planning, and is expected to tie the knot with Ercan in the spring or summer of this year. 

Millie Bobby Brown & Jake Bongiovi

British actress and Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown took to social media in April 2023 to share the news of her engagement to Jon Bon Jovi's son, Jake Bongiovi. She announced the news to her 63.5 million Instagram followers alongside an endearing monochromatic photograph of the couple, captioned, 'I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all'.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster & Talulah Riley

Esteemed British actor and Love Actually star Thomas Brodie-Sangster shared the news of his engagement to fellow actor Talulah Riley in July 2023. Captioned ‘Love is all around’, the star shared a heartfelt image posing with Riley on a punt in Cambridge. Although the details of the wedding are yet to be revealed, could a Love Actually Christmas wedding be on the cards for the couple? 

Tommy Mallet & Georgia Kousoulou

Claimed to be the longest lasting relationship from British series TOWIE, co-stars Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou have taken their relationship to new heights following Mallet's proposal. During the couple's travels to Mexico in February 2022, Mallet got on one knee to propose to Georgia. The moment was also filmed and broadcasted on their show, Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps. The couple are said to be in the midst of wedding planning and we're excited to see what they have in store for us in 2024.

Jill Scott & Shelly Unitt

Following Jill Scott's proposal to partner Shelly Unitt in March 2020, we've been itching to find out when they plan on tying the knot. The couple shared a photograph of their engagement via Instagram, which took place at their jointly owned coffee shop, later that month. Since then, the couple have had multiple reasons to celebrate, including Jill's successful stint on last year's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here. It's no secret that they've both had busy schedules, although we're hoping that the couple find some time to say 'I do' in 2024.

Ella Henderson & Jack Burnell

X Factor singer Ella Henderson and Olympic swimmer Jack Burnell announced their engagement in January 2023 during their Mauritian getaway. The celebrity couple took to social media to quickly spill their news, saying: 'So this happened …here’s to life with you & all its adventures @jackrexburnell'.

Nick Grimshaw & Mesh Henry

British presenter and former radio DJ Nick Grimshaw shared his proposal to long-term partner, Mesh Henry, in March 2022. The pair took to social media to announce their thrilling news. Nick wrote, 'And in gay news this evening ... got proposed to, said yes obvs.' Dancer Mesh added: 'In gay news, proposed init.' Even though we didn’t witness the pair seal the deal in 2023, we have high hopes for wedding bells in 2024.

Zoe 'Zoella' Sugg & Alfie Deyes

Youtube sensation Zoe Sugg, more commonly known as Zoella, shared the news of her engagement through a monochromatic video which showcased Zoe’s phenomenal engagement ring – a dazzling addition to her hand. The pair shared the video with a joint post which was captioned with a white heart emoji. We have our fingers crossed for a 2024 wedding extravaganza.

Montana Brown & Mark O'Connor

Season 3 Love Island personality Montana Brown announced her engagement to partner Mark O'Connor in April 2023. Having recently welcomed their first child together, we expect they're more preoccupied with parental duties.
