Located within the London Borough of Barnet in the north of the city, you will find Finchley. The area, which is predominantly residential, is home to three town centres: North Finchley, East Finchley and Church End, which is commonly known as Finchley Central. That being said, there is a lot going on in Finchley. Not only is it the birthplace of musical greats, including George Michael and Emma Bunton, it is also home to College Farm which is a site of local importance for nature conservation. Elsewhere, discover the Phoenix Cinema which has been open since 1912, making it one of the oldest cinemas in the UK, as well as a 10 foot tall statue known as ‘The Archer’, who stands on East Finchley tube station.
Of course, Finchley is filled with lots of fantastic restaurants. No matter what you want to eat in the Finchley area, you’ll definitely find something which floats your boat here. Whether that’s South Asian, Spanish or Szechuan cuisine, there's a restaurant to suit whatever you're craving.
