The beautiful Buckinghamshire market town of Beaconsfield sits right next to the Chiltern Hills and is split into an old town and a new town. The Old Town features a street full of charming period houses and is home to a number of small shops and pubs. Whereas the New Town, while still maintaining a level elegance, has more shops and restaurants and also the wold’s oldest model village Bekonscot which still brings in plenty of visitors to this day. Every Tuesday the Old Town hosts a fantastic market where a number of local businesses and vendors come to sell their wares, and once a month there is also a fantastic farmers market.

With some of the most renowned foodie towns and villages a matter of miles away, you’re never short of brilliant restaurants near Beaconsfield. However, despite being a relatively small town, there are actually plenty of great choices in the town when it comes to eating out. A number of Beaconsfield’s pubs serve very good food and are the perfect place to end up after exploring the idyllic town centre. As well as the pubs though, there are a number of other styles of restaurant in both parts of the town, including Japanese, Indian, steakhouses and more.
