What started as a single opening in the nearby pretty riverside village of Sonning, has now emerged into a collection of Coppa Clubs across London and the South of England, with its Maidenhead site opening in late 2018. A short walk from the town centre and overlooking Maidenhead’s waterway, it’s a picturesque and welcoming setting.
Coppa Club mirrors the feel of a private member’s club - but without the hefty membership fees. Open all day, it welcomes both those looking for a cosy, comfy place to set up work for the day, as well as those wanting to relax with a cocktail and delicious dinner.
The menu is focussed on unfussy yet thoughtful European dishes with a mix of small plates, snacks and salads, along with sourdough pizzas and grilled mains. Suitable for all the family, there is a dedicated kids menu and plenty of choices from the all-day menu that would please a little one’s palette.
Breakfast and weekend brunch menus are also a popular choice at Coppa Club in Maidenhead, offering light choices such as sourdough toast with a selection of toppings, a choice of artisan pastries, or coconut yoghurt with berries. Those looking for a heartier choice might want the classic crushed avocado and eggs, the garden breakfast with greens and grilled halloumi or the buckwheat and rye pancakes.
The restaurant also appeals to those looking for a remote working space where they can settle down in a comfy seat, enjoy coffee throughout the day along with a selection of snacks and light lunch dishes. A menu of cocktails also makes this a perfect evening destination for dinner and drinks.
