Whether you live or work in West London or across the river, The Holland is a private dining venue that promises to deliver a fantastic Christmas party experience for you and your colleagues, friends or family. Set on a leafy street in Holland Park, The Holland has all the charms of a local boozer, with a historic building, smart interiors and - most importantly - a stand-out menu of food and drinks.
The Holland only opened in Summer 2022, but it has already made a name for itself with locals and beyond, landing a spot in the Michelin Guide in February 2023. The kitchen is led by head chef Max de Nahlik who uses seasonal produce sourced from across the UK to whip up British, ingredient-led dishes. Private dining events usually work on a set menu basis and will be derived from ingredients available at the time, based on the season.
But, if you're looking for a flavour of what's to come, head to the restaurant's website to see the kinds of plates the team usually serves. Previous dishes have included squash risotto with Parmesan and toasted pumpkin seeds, alongside blood orange braised chicory with hazelnuts and rhubarb chimichurri, or lemon sole with wild garlic butter and brown shrimp.
When hiring the private dining space you can opt for a two or three-course sit down meal featuring the likes of the above, for which there is a capacity of 40 people. Or, opt for a drinks and canapes reception-style event instead, for which 50 people can be catered for. The team are more than happy to talk through all the options with you to make sure your Christmas party is the best one yet.
And, no Christmas party would be quite complete without a few drinks, so The Holland is more than happy to supply you with glasses and bottles from its extensive wine list, cocktail menu and rotating cask beers.
