The City crazy golf club is opening a second outpost overlooking Oxford Street in March 2018, and this one will have a much more glitzy offering for corporate groups and parties. We managed to get our hands on some exclusive renders to give you an idea of the vibe – fun and friendly with a good dose of glamour.
On top of exclusive hire for 600 guests, the immersive venue will have three private dining rooms, a bookable space behind the Bandstand Bar, two leafy pergola structures for smaller celebrations, and pre-set food, golf and drink packages for groups that don’t need a totally private area.
While the original in The City is themed on the English countryside, Swingers West End will recreate the old-school glamour of 1920s British seaside towns on its two nine-hole courses. We like that the team has created an app to help keep track of scores (most handy after a few drinks). A 3D photo booth on the winners’ podium sound like a nice touch for team photos.
One standout space within the venue is the Bandstand Bar that’s included in the full takeover, which overlooks the Big Wheel Course and DJ Booth. Of the private dining spaces, our favourite is the nautically-themed President’s Committee Room, where you can host a dinner for up to 20 guests.
Catering comes from street-food favourites such as Made of Dough and Patty&Bun. It’s also the first Swingers to have a dessert vendor; expect the likes of alcoholic milkshakes and sundaes from Hackney Gelato. To really put your own stamp on your event, bookers can arrange for personalised company branding to be iced onto a selection of Crosstown Doughnuts.
Bookings can be made from 1 December.
