After a dramatic revamp Ansty Hall officially joins Exclusive Collection

Set across eight acres, Ansty Hall is the seventh luxury hotel and venue in the Exclusive Collection portfolio, joining the likes of Lainston House in Hampshire and Fanhams Hall in Hertfordshire. Acquired from Macdonald Hotels in February 2023, the 17th-century country house features, 62 bedrooms, lush gardens, and various meetings and event spaces.

It marks a significant expansion for Exclusive Collection, whose existing properties, including Royal Berkshire in Ascot, have been restricted to the southeast. The refurbishment is extensive, drawing on rich local history and modern design to restore the building to its former glory.

In general manager Steven Ogden's words: ‘Just as its emblem, the Phoenix, represents, Ansty Hall has been regenerated from the ashes by Exclusive Collection. We are thrilled to open our doors and welcome guests to experience the perfect blend of elegance, history, and innovation.’

The revamp, led by renowned designer Russell Sage, has created an array of impressive spaces for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The venue now boasts an orangery with floor-to-ceiling windows, the Cedar Room, and the Gilbert Scott room, all offering breathtaking views of the gardens and Warwickshire countryside.

With a capacity of 160 guests for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, along with a nearby church designed by Sir Gilbert Scott himself (the architect of King's Cross and St Pancras Station), Asty Hall has positioned itself as a prime wedding destination.

Exclusive Collection - known for its Michelin-starred restaurants Latymer at Pennyhill Park and Bybrook at The Manor House, in addition to the 3 AA restaurant Camellia at South Lodge - has appointed chef Ryan Swift at the helm of Woven, the Ansty Hall restaurant. Named as a reference to Coventry's once-thriving textile and weaving industry, Woven offers contemporary British a la carte menus informed by local produce. Afternoon tea at Ansty Hall is a 'High Chai' affair, with a menu to reflect the popular local flavours of the Coventry region.
