Prices and menu options have been announced for the
South Bank venue’s second summer season. Picture cooling punch cocktails on arrival, barbecue-style food and the option to add on music and entertainment.
One big bonus is that all five event spaces include at least one outdoor terrace. The fully outdoor option on the rooftop has got to be our favourite, for the impressive vistas from behind the
Sea Containers letters across to the Shard and St Paul’s. We also like that the other four rooms are kitted out with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Venue hire starts from £500 for groups of 40 in the private dining room Wren, but parties as large of 350 can be catered for across the venue. Once you’ve got the guest list sorted, it’s time to choose whether it’s a cool (£62pp) or hot summer (£82pp) do you’re after – as these are the names of the food and drinks packages. Both include a number of drinks, set amounts of canapés, and a live cooking station.
Opt for a scorcher (Hot Summer) and guests will enjoy a rum bar. Food is satisfyingly summery: think wraps and pitas stuffed with jerk-spiced goat or chimichurri halloumi.
