Part of the Pan Pacific hotel group and located on the top floor of the 144-year-old Devonshire House in Liverpool Street, Silverleaf is an independent cocktail bar that serves a forward-thinking cocktail menu and a collection of rare international spirits. One of the oldest independent cocktail bars to be part of a major luxury hotel offering, Silverleaf combines world-class design with second-to-none hospitality, in order to create a ‘home away from home’ for its guests.
The interiors are designed by Tom Dixon with the intention of providing diners with a full sensory experience, taking inspiration from naturalism and its elements to achieve this. The dark-toned bar offers fairly minimal interiors, from leather booths and comfortable chair seating in earthy tones to a painted wooden beamed ceiling, while an illuminated bar showcasing its impressive spirit collection provides a focal point in the room.
Similarly to the interiors, Silverleaf’s cocktail menu also takes inspiration from naturalism with each cocktail championing two of three core ingredients. An experienced mixologist team have also created their own unique, in-house ingredients to enhance each creation. Every cocktail offers a distinctive flavour profile indicated by symbols on the menu, with one particular drink offering aromatic, floral, fruit and wood notes, for example. All cocktails are presented in a minimal way with vibrant edible garnishes providing colour.
Look out for cocktails including Pineapple and Miso made with whisky, pineapple caramel, miso and brown butter, or Watermelon and Sake made with gin, watermelon, umami vermouth and sake. There are over 10 distinctive cocktails available to order on the menu.
Elsewhere, guests can also order a range of non-alcoholic drinks, from mocktails to beer and wine, while an expertly-curated collection of spirits spanning vodka and gin to potable bitters is also on offer.
