The Pan Pacific is a luxury London hotel in the heart of The City, combining traditional architecture with a contemporary style. Located a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street Station, Shoreditch High Street and Spitalfields Market, it offers a relaxing haven amongst the hustle and bustle of the capital.
The hotel is a hub of activity with the modern Bishopsgate Plaza comprising of a striking 43-storey bronze tower, the hotel and private residential apartments. Along a landscaped public plaza, you’ll find the 144-year-old Devonshire House which has designer shops, restaurants and a stylish cocktail bar.
Straits Kitchen is the hotel’s flagship restaurant offering Singaporean all-day dining, with menus inspired by Asian delicacies and far-flung flavours. One highlight of this inventive seasonal menu is the crispy confit duck leg, served with a salted duck yolk, raspberry flakes, baby pak choi and a hoisin jus - the perfect balance of flavours. The unique flavour combinations continue into the desserts with the likes of mandarin mousse and a tiger sponge served with a scoop of black sesame ice cream. Meals are served both individually and for sharing family-style, as is traditional in Singaporean culture.
In addition to the main restaurant area, there are two private dining rooms: Newton and Katong. Whether you’re planning a business lunch with colleagues or a celebratory dinner with family and friends, they are the perfect setting for an intimate occasion, with a personal service tailored to you. Newton can accommodate up to 12 guests, around a striking asymmetrical table, while Katong has the capacity for up to 14, dining around the central captain’s table.
Following your meal, you can head to Ginger Lily cocktail bar, which encompasses the lively atmosphere of a Singaporean bar. Here you can choose from one of 100 champagnes, or a fabulous cocktail, from an eclectic mix of Singaporean classics and contemporary creations.
