Beautifully peaceful and with glistening waters, St Austell is a town in Cornwall, just around 10 miles south of Bodmin. There are plenty of wonderful things to do in St Austell, including visiting the Shipwreck Treasure Museum, which is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Charleston – a historical museum that houses over 8,000 artefacts from over 150 shipwrecks. The Lost Gardens of Halligan are considered to be some of the most popular in the UK and are gardens typical of a 19th century gardenesque style. The Eden Project is another popular attraction, and lies just around 5 km outside of St Austell. Here, the project is centred around natural beauty, and is located in a reclaimed china pit. You'll be able to spot some of the world’s most loved plants and flowers, and always join in with some fun activities.
