Boscundle Manor is a beautiful, very charming Cornish manor house that is set in two acres of private gardens. If you're near to some of the main Cornish attractions, you'll want to pay a visit to Boscundle Manor, which is surrounded by stunning harbours and sweeping bays. The hotel is just moments away from the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Charlestown Harbour and Mevagissey are part of the hotel's landscape.
There is so much on offer when it comes to fresh produce and locally sourced ingredients in Cornwall, and Boscundle Manor has plenty to offer diners with the foodie delights. Even the drinks are supplied by Cornish craft breweries and distilleries, and diners are encouraged to sit back and relax with a drink, whether in the bar, lounge, library or on the terrace.
For breakfast, enjoy the full Cornish with two smoked rashers of bacon, sausage, hogs pudding, roasted potatoes, chestnut mushrooms, baked beans, and eggs your way, or the ricotta pillow pancakes with apple compote, candied pecans, greek yoghurt and maple syrup. Four main in the library, begin with a twice baked mature cheddar and grain mustard cheese souffle with a white wine cream sauce, candied pecans and herb oil soldiers, or the locally sourced marmalade pork sausages with a honey and grain mustard and honey soda bread. Large plates include the slow roasted confit duck pie with carrots, onion, Cornish cheddar potato topping, root vegetables and with a balsamic dressing, along with the cheeseburger with grilled halloumi, pineapple, Cornish rarebit, sweet potatoes, tomato and relish in a brioche bun with fries. For pudding, try the nemesis chocolate cake, which is rich, decadent and served with clotted cream.
