Greggs launches a festive boozy brunch

Amidst the maelstrom of festive menus, beloved pastry purveyor Greggs has gone one step further. This year, Greggs will host three brunch events to celebrate the return of the one and only Greggs festive bake on 10 November.

These brunch events, a first for the 83-year-old chain, will see guests served platters of festive food, Prosecco and even handcrafted seasonal cocktails. What’s on the platters, we hear you ask? Why, sausage rolls, of course! Well, sausage rolls, festive bakes and a couple of sweet treats for good measure.

Of course, this is the UK. Here, no brunch is complete without booze, a fact Greggs is all too aware of. Enter: the Greggspresso martini, sugar strand daiquiri, Greggs no-Aperol spritz and festive fizz.

Each of the three brunch sittings will last around 75 minutes and hundreds of Gregg-heads will be able to purchase tickets.

As if all this wasn’t enough, there will also be music and entertainment from none other than Hunsnet (check out their Instagram if you need your memory jogged).

The festive bake and its completely vegan cousin will grace our fair nation on Thursday 10 November. If you’re worried about your local Greggs running out, you can even reserve your bake by using the click-and-collect feature on the chain’s app.
