Ipswich is a town in Suffolk that is set on the River Orwell. Here, you'll find plenty of Tudor architecture, open spaces and plenty to do. Some of the most popular places to visit include the 19th century Old Custom House, Christchurch Mansion with its very own Tudor kitchen and the Wolsey Art Gallery – it’s safe to safe, this is definitely a town for the history buffs. If you're not that into history, though, you can pay a visit to the Ipswich Waterfront, or watch a game at the football club. The town is definitely one with a family orientated feel, although there is plenty to do no matter your age.
