Whilst you’ll still have great transport links into the city, and be just around the corner from the M4, you’ll still find yourself largely surrounded by green spaces, small shops and beautiful buildings in Ealing Broadway, a bit different to the crazy city atmosphere you get further into London. Ealing has been regarded as the Queen of the suburbs because of its great balance. Ealing Film Studios produced much comedy, especially in the 1950s, and the arrival of the shopping centre in 1985 definitely commercialised the area a bit more.
