From the garden with Fight Club rules, to the washing-line noticeboard, to the friendly staff who make sure you're welcomed and looked after, Arancini Factory is a cut above most neighbourhood coffee shops. The risotto balls are delicious and beautifully presented on wooden chopping boards, but for me it's the fresh goodies (baked on-site!) and excellent coffee that really shine at breakfast time. Add in some choice music (who doesn't want guitar blues at breakfast?) and some sunshine out back, and you've got a real community feel here.
If they just ditched the disposable coffee cups and paper bags for customers dining in, and got some local art up on the walls, they'd be a 10 in my eyes.
