Just on the border of the City of London, Farringdon is a hub for professionals, so it's no surprise that many private dinners are held within this area's bounds. If you are planning a special event – whether for business or pleasure, you’ll be needing somewhere equally as special to celebrate. Private dining at Vivat Bacchus Farringdon offers a choice of four private dining spaces, each suitable for a number of different occasions.
The team at Vivat Bacchus are well experienced with hosting large parties, corporate meetings and business events, tasting evenings, casual drinks receptions and even more grand affairs, so you’re in very good hands. Each private dining room at Vivat Bacchus takes its name from a famous wine growing region in South Africa. The Stellenbosch Room, which accommodates up to 12 guests, is named for the region with some of the best cabernet sauvignon, merlot and Bordeaux blends. It also boasts a private bar and Champagne cellar.
The Robertson Room, named for the area that produces some brilliantly vibrant and creamy Chardonnays, seats 24 guests in a more retro room with a bright yellow wall that showcases a range of South African photographs. If you need something bigger again, you can join the Robertson Room with the Constantia Room and Franschhoek Room. By itself, the Franschhoek Room can accommodate up to 48 on two long tables, and boasts its very own walk-in wine cellar. There’s also access to a service bar, separate toilets, and great AV equipment.
Whether it’s a lively dinner party, engagement celebration, wine and cheese tasting, or a corporate affair, all needs can be covered. That goes for the menu too, although known for exceptional braai cooking, steaks, and wine, for bigger parties private dining at Vivat Bacchus can involve canapes too.
