Smaller weddings with your close circle are becoming increasingly popular alternatives to big complicated affairs in country castles and manor houses. We can’t think of a better place to celebrate building a life together than Vivat Bacchus, where the god of revelry reigns and brilliant South African wines flow freely. Vivat Bacchus offers you the chance to begin married life by celebrating in a sophisticated, modern winery style restaurant and bar, with decor and food that celebrates South Africa.
With a prime, central location in London, Vivat Bacchus is easy to reach for your guests, whether they're coming by plane, train, bus or tube. The restaurant has been decorated with an industrial feel, so you'll find plenty of brick, wood and exposed pipes. The warm tones and rich woods make the space inviting, yet neutral enough for you to add your own touches.
There are four private event spaces in Vivat Bacchus Farringdon, each with a slightly different design and varying in size. The largest of the Vivat Bacchus event spaces is the Franschhoek Room which can seat up to 48 of your guests but allows a combination room booking with the Robertson and Constantina spaces to have space for up to 85 people.
This is an exclusive use wedding venue, but there are several spaces available to host entertainment, put on slideshows, or set aside for a chill out area.
For example, the Stellenbosch Room, which is located in the restaurant's mezzanine area can accommodate up to 25 of your guests standing, and 12 for a sit down dinner. You'll also be able to enjoy your own private bar when booking the Stellenbosch Room, and have access to the Champagne Cellar.
