For a private dining experience in Leeds that offers exceptional food, in an even more exceptional setting, The Cut and Craft is the place to go. Set in a historic building in the iconic Victoria Quarter, The Cut and Craft has received numerous awards for their top-quality food and stunning interior design since opening in 2022. The venue was once home to Collinson’s Cafe, an institution known for its connection to Titanic bandmaster Wallace Hartley. One of the few items discovered of Hartley’s from the Titanic was a silver matchbox engraved with ‘from Collinson’s staff Leeds’.
Inspired by the delicious steaks they had encountered throughout their travels, owners Oscar Akgul and Osman Doganozu sought to create a quality steak house in their Yorkshire home town. Working alongside a local butcher, they have succeeded in their mission, offering several cuts of 60-day-aged Aberdeen Angus steak to their Leeds clientele.
The historic venue is the ideal location to host a special event that will not soon be forgotten. With various options to choose from, the team at The Cut and Craft will find you the perfect space for your event, whether that be a birthday dinner or a corporate lunch.
For larger events, The Cut and Craft offer rental of the entire premise, promising exclusive access to the whole restaurant. Curate an evening of utter luxury by beginning with a Champagne reception, accompanied by canapes prepared by the kitchen team. Although they offer a menu for such events, the team are happy to adjust it to best suit your requirements, offering a completely bespoke event.
The first-floor mezzanine is also available to hire for events with a smaller guest list that want to create an equally impactful atmosphere. With a dedicated guest experience manager The Cut and Craft ensure that your event will be exactly as you pictured it.
