The Cadogan Arms on the King’s Road is a classic British pub designed to pay homage to the old-school public houses of the late 17th century. It underwent a renovation in the summer of 2021 to restore the building to its former glory, with the project overseen by a powerful partnership between JKS restaurant group (also Trishna, Gymkhana and Hoppers), publican Dominic Jacobs and two-Michelin-starred chef James Knappett.
The main private dining room available for hire is the Rose Room, named after The Rose and Crown pub which originally opened on the same site in the 17th century. With a capacity of up to 50 people (seated and standing) or 40 people seated, the room is equipped with a private horseshoe bar, stained glass wall and two large meat-ageing fridges which are used to age the pub's carefully-sourced British beef. It also houses four TV screens and a state-of-the-art AV system which can used to watch live sporting events. It’s a versatile space that can be booked for standing events, private dining and drinks receptions.
The room can be arranged in a combination of table and seating formations with table service offered throughout. Here, diners can indulge in the Feast Menu created by Executive Chef Alex Harper and designed specifically for large groups. Expect familiar British pub classics executed with modern flare. If a sit-down dinner isn’t what you’re looking for, the dedicated events team will help you organise your perfect event, whether it’s a drinks party with a bespoke beverage offering or an elegant canape reception.
Both the main dining room and bar area can also be booked for groups of eight or more, and provide a fantastic atmospheric location for a special occasion or celebration. There are also options for semi-private hire of between 10-17 guests, with a number of flexible packages for smaller groups available.
