La Maison Ani is a new opening from the Fundamental Hospitality Group, led by chef Izu Ani and his experience cooking in France, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. While the menu has plenty of nods to these international cuisines and focuses on using only the freshest, most high quality ingredients, the vibe of the restaurant is mostly inspired by the beauty and romance of Paris.
From the facade's coral awning, decorated with bespoke floral pattern inspired by the Parisian Jardin Du Palais, to statement pink bar which glows gently and is accessorised with lattice-style markings, La Maison Ani exudes glamour and sophistication - making it the perfect place for a special occasion.
You can reserve tables of up to 20 people online but if you'd like to take over a more intimate, exclusive space, speak to the team about the private dining room. Here, you'll find a smart, central dining table with 14 chairs, a gorgeous place to bring together colleagues, clients, friends or family, for a long lunch or special dinner.
Private diners are welcome to order from the usual a la carte menu which is again ideal for a larger group as it's packed with choice. First off, you might order some starters for the table, with smaller plates looking like burrata with cherry tomatoes, kale and bresaola salad in chili dressing, and cauliflower salad with Comté cheese.
For mains, there's crowd pleasing staples like pizza - with toppings like Brie, Camembert, Gorgonzola, Gruyère and walnuts - as well as pastas - expect everything from pappardelle with Bolognese sauce to seafood risotto with pistachio. We like the sound of the whole baby chicken in Perigueux sauce
with seasonal truffle, as well as salt-baked seabass which is bound to be an instant classic.
Of course, when a special occasion is in order, you'll no doubt have an eye on the drinks menu and good news there, with an incredibly extensive wine list and selection of experimental signature cocktails, each coming with an accompanying quote.
