The original Cantinetta Antinori was established back in 1957, located on the ground floor of Nicolò Antinori's historic family home, the 15th century Palazzo Antinori in the heart of Florence. Since then, this famous winemaking family has brought its culinary vision of Tuscan hospitality to Zurich, Moscow, Vienna and Monaco, and now for the first time the UK, too.
For this special location, the Antinoris, who are known for six centuries of prestigious winemaking over 26 generations, have come together with another prominent Italian family in the food industry, the Giraudis. The Giraudis boast over 30 restaurants in the likes of Hong Kong, Paris and Mexico, and together these foodie powerhouses have created an authentic Italian experience like no other, right in the heart of Knightsbridge. So, if you're looking for a fabulous place to host a birthday dinner, anniversary or important client meeting, this is the spot.
Spaced across three floors in a characterful period building, the restaurant offers all-day Tuscan dining complemented by fine wines, and in the evening live jazz music fills the space with atmosphere. The menus offer everything you would expect from an Italian experience with delicious plates of anti pasti such as burrata with baby plum tomatoes, toasted pine nuts and basil oil and grilled white asparagus with 101-month-aged Parmesan.
The pasta is a rite of pasta here, with the kitchen serving up some of the freshest, most delicious plates you'll try in the city. We like the sound of the homemade buffalo ricotta gnocchi with clams and grey mullet bottarga, as well as the homemade garganelli with rabbit and thyme ragù, taggiasca olives and Swiss chard. As well as this, you'll find a selection of delectable meat and fish dishes, all complemented of course by a fantastic wine offering.
Simply give one of the team a call to discuss your event and they'll be happy to talk you through the options for booking a larger group table or using the 10-person private dining space, which is great for an intimate supper.
