COMO The Halkin London is a luxury hotel based in West London just moments away from Hyde Park. From the outside, the hotel embodies the spirit of a classic London townhouse, while inside, sleek lines, rich tones and a contemporary feel oozes sophistication.
If you're looking for a central location and a team that's well-versed in hosting events and private dining, then The Halkin is the place for you. There are two main event spaces on offer, starting with the stylish private dining room. A uniquely decorated space, it spans 43 square metres and features huge windows which flood the place with natural light, as well as modernist metal chairs and blue-hued wall panels. Sat down, the room accommodates 24, or you can squeeze in a few more when standing.
The Private Dining Area is perfect for a bigger shindig and can hold up to 50 guests seated or 90 standing, which is amazing for big birthday parties, corporate functions for the whole company or even weddings. What's more, this space has an incredible, artistic installation overhead made from 3D objects. Indeed, using 7,000 glass receptacles filled with spices, the piece looks like a moving wave, and is complemented by the oak floor, lacquered walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. When it comes to food, the team can help organise meals from the in-house restaurant using the current menus for inspiration.
The Halkin Bar serves up a range of cuisines and meal types, meaning that guests can order the likes of small snacks like burrata, mozzarella and tomato salad, alongside chicken and mushroom croquettes, or three-course meals with mains like turmeric-battered cod, mushy garden peas, and homemade chips, as well as 36-day dry-aged beef rib-eye steak and free-range chicken breast, with apricot purée, grilled shallots, pistachio and jus.
