Korean Dinner Party is a concept-led restaurant on top of Kingly Court, just off busy Carnaby Street, with a fabulous location surrounded by bustling bars, boutiques and clubs. If you're planning a special occasion and want to do something out of the ordinary, we love the idea behind this unique restaurant which brings the culture of LA's Koreatown to London.
The restaurant was founded by Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng and brings together influences from Japan, Mexico, the US and of course Korea, for a menu of street food inspired dishes, novelty cocktails and craft sake. The restaurant itself is a stylish backdrop to any event with distressed concrete walls, minimalist seating and bright neon signage. It's designed to look like the buzzy restaurants of Seoul and transport diners there, even if just for the night.
While there isn't an exclusive-use private dining space, groups of up to seven can book a larger table using the online booking tool, and bigger groups can get in touch with the team who will be happy to help and reserve you a section of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the team can't create special birthday or similar cakes or handle outside products in their kitchen, so you'll have to settle for a soft serve, milk and matcha ice cream instead! As for decorations, the same goes, as the team feel the setting is just about cool enough, and ask you not to bring any extra balloons or banners.
As for the menu, you could either go for the lunch or all day menus which offer a mix of street food inspired dishes from stone pots to Korean tacos, go all out with the tasting menu, or opt for bottomless brunch which includes 90 minutes of free-flowing prosecco topped up with JINRO Soju.
