Looking to host a private dinner in Fitzrovia? Cast your eye over to Drunch, an all-day restaurant in the heart of this glamourous part of town that serves, you guessed it, brunch, lunch and dinner (hence the name). It also houses a hidden private dining room – Kave – that can be booked for all types of celebrations with friends and family, from birthdays to anniversaries.
Located in the basement of this friendly neighborhood joint, Kave is a cosy, speakeasy-style space with capacity to host up to 40 people. It can be booked for private or semi-private functions and offers a seductive and secluded space to unwind over cocktails and sharing plates. As the name suggests, Kave does indeed feature two caves, and its brick walls were originally built in 1890 bringing a spot of historic legacy to the place.
The space boasts its own private bar and a DJ desk, but it’s also possible for parties to play their own music if preferred. The marble-topped bar sits underneath a grand brick arch, while the rest of the room offers a host of cosy corners and nooks to retreat to for a drink and a catch-up. Cosy orange lighting, red sofa seating and lots of comfortable cushions will make you feel like you’re worlds away from the busy streets of London above.
If you’d like Drunch to take care of the finer details for you, the events team would be happy to book a DJ and photographer for your event at an extra cost.
What’s on the menu? Look out for signature cocktails such as Picante (tequila, agave, coriander, lime and chilli) and Good Thyme’s Only (gin and thyme liquor), as well as all the usual cocktail culprits if you prefer something a little more classic. A selection of gins, wines, mocktails and soft drinks are also available.
