Drunch is a family-run restaurant with three sites in London, including Mayfair, Regent’s Park and Fitzrovia. It was originally set up in 2013 by Syrian relatives Hom and Aboudi who wanted to create a social destination for their friends and family to come together thorughout the day over great food. And so Drunch came about, a combination of brunch, lunch and dinner, which offers a fun, quirky and laid-back dining experience with comforting food and great service.
Drunk Fitzrovia is open for all-day dining and serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as a selection of cocktails, wines, juices and mocktails. You can find plenty of classic brunch dishes on the menu, including the likes of shakshuka, a full English, eggs royale, florentine and benedict – plus pretty much any other egg-based dish you could want! There is also a selection of lighter options such as an acai bowl, homemade granola with coconut, berries, Greek yoghurt and honey and avocado on toast. For a little later in the day, you can also find a host of options on the grill, from bagels to burgers, plus plenty of healthy salads.
The evening menu revolves around a menu of small and large sharing plates with a strong Mediterranean influence. Examples of smaller dishes include breaded halloumi with chilli mayonnaise, tiger prawns with chilli, garlic, lemon and sourdough and truffle arancini with wild mushroom, mozzarella and chilli mayo. Larger dishes, meanwhile, might include sea bass with artichokes, olives and capers, along with steaks, burgers and salads.
To drink, don’t miss one of its signature cocktails – think Good Thymes Only made with gin and thyme liquor, and Escobar featuring rum, caramel, lime, walnut bitter, apple and egg whites. Or, simply ask the team to mix up something a little more classic! Beers, wines, mocktails and soft drinks are also up for grabs.
