Found in the corner of the West End where Mayfair segues into St James’s, Ginza is a sleek, upmarket restaurant offering authentic Japanese cuisine. The restaurant is also home to three separate private dining spaces, all of which are best suited to small, intimate parties and are available for hire.
The first private dining space is the Sushi Counter, which can welcome up to six guests for a sit-down meal. Guests are able to sit at the counter and watch as Ginza St James’s expert chefs prepare sushi and sashimi directly in front of them, with variations to choose from including yellowtail, salmon and prawn.
The second private dining option is the Teppanyaki Counter, which can host a party of up to six guests for sit-down dining. Here, guests can enjoy the theatrics of a chef preparing dishes right in front of their eyes, feasting on a menu which features dishes such as Canadian lobster cooked in soy sauce and served with a yuzu and tomato sauce, or A5 Kobe Gyu served with a garlic and ginger sauce, plus Himalayan salt.
Ginza St James’s third and final private dining space is its dedicated private dining room, which can welcome up to six guests for lunch, or dinner. The private dining room is a minimalist, calming space complete with a striking light fixture and mirrored surfaces and guests are able to dine from the a la carte of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes.
For all private dining events, Ginza St James’s events team are able to assist with all elements of the planning from bespoke menus, wine selection, flowers, lighting, production and entertainment to create the perfect event.
