The glamorous London outpost of globe-spanning Ginza is ideally located in the heart of Mayfair, bringing a suitable level of style and sophistication to the area. The decor is minimalist, dark and gives a nod to authentic Japanese culture with its largely wooden interior.
If you’re looking for somewhere to hold a Christmas party whether it’s for the office or with a group of friends, Ginza has a variety of spaces available, from the entire venue through to three private dining rooms to choose from, each suited to intimate but upscale festive gatherings. The whole space comes with a maximum capacity of 120 seated to 200 standing, then for something more intimate you can pick from the Teppanyaki counter which seats eight, the Sushi Counter which seats six, and the more conventional private room, which also seats six. The latter of which are well-suited to friends and small client groups, looking to catch up at Christmas.
You can also start (or end) your night in the Japanese lounge located on the ground floor for some expertly crafted cocktails, premium spirits, and an atmosphere that’s both chic and relaxed. Plus, if you make it for happy hour, you can indulge at a discounted price.
Moving on to the food, there’s both a Festive Lunch and Festive Dinner menu available to cater for any time of day. The dinner is the more luxurious of the two options, with six indulgent courses of Japanese fare including dishes such as egg custard with mushroom and foie gras, lobster with black aioli, and wagyu with peppercorn sauce and egg fried rice. There is also a vegan alternative for each course. For lunch, you can opt for something slightly more low key but an equally delicious 6 course set menu, with dishes such as chicken karaage, butter garlic prawns and sirloin steak.
