If you're planning a special event in Bath then good news, there's a new restaurant in town with a soon-to-open private dining space. Brasserie Beau is a French-inspired restaurant located in the Hotel Indigo Bath, a beautiful Grade I Listed Georgian building in the heart of this historic town.
The main restaurant boasts gorgeous period features like wall panelling and large windows, while walls are hued in a rich green and complemented with colourful posters, showing vintage illustrations from the Golden Age of Paris. Seating includes smaller tables for two, as well as large booth-like spots for bigger groups and cosy banquettes. While the website hasn't updated all the details for the private dining space, speak to the team about taking over one of the restaurant rooms or booking out a large table for your group.
When it comes to food, the menu is all about hero-ing the absolute best of British produce, and the team are keen to share stories of sourcing their meat from local farms and suppliers. For example, Executive Chef Liam Goldstone works with Huntsham Court Farm to select rare breed beef and Middlewhite pork, while Deer Box in Wiltshire manage free-ranging herds of Fallow, Roe, and Muntjac deer, while contributing to woodland biodiversity.
Take a look at the a la carte menu for an idea of dishes to expect including small plates like smoked Tamworth ham hock terrine and Bathurst Estate venison ragu, as well as main dishes such as smoked haddock mornay with buttered spinach, alongside confit crisp Barbary duck leg with spiced lentils. Or, try some of those cuts of meat cooked on the grill, like a range of steaks and half rotisserie chicken. For dessert, those with a sweet tooth will love the burnt basque cheesecake, as well as strawberry jam doughnuts with crème patisserie.
