The Circus Restaurant is an independently owned operation in Bath, which serves a menu of modern European dishes that evolves with the seasons, alongside a wine list that champions small-batch, artisan producers. The Circus Restaurant is able to accommodate large groups in its downstairs dining area. Private parties of up to 30 guests are able to book out this area exclusively during the week, from Monday to Thursday and the space can be used to host events ranging from milestone birthday dinners and family reunions to business lunches and charity fundraisers.
The menu here is a modern European affair, which changes throughout the year in order to make the most of in season produce. On your visit, you might begin your meal with starters of mackerel tartare served with green apple and shiso or a warm bowl of spiced pumpkin soup, finished off with pumpkin seeds and maple croutons. For your main course, try ribeye steak with Cafe de Paris butter, mushrooms, watercress and chunky chips or duck a l’orange in a spiced orange reduction.
