The Grade II-listed livery hall will open its doors to events again on 25 September, with added spaces and a more modern look.

The two new riverside rooms and extra basement level will give the venue 33% more floor space and a total of seven rooms. Specialist heritage architects LYN Atelier and Demant Cole Design have been vital in the internal transformation, incorporating the building’s original brick walls and wharf-like features with the new design.

As oenophiles, we particularly like the look of the refurb in the basement, where you’ll find a wine cellar designed by Sorrels Custom Wine Cellars. It also includes an original Yorkstone floor and three restored Georgian brick arches. With its own entrance and reception area, the area works well exclusively.

‘The renovations have been meticulously designed to boost its contemporary vibe while preserving our wonderful heritage,’ said Glaziers Hall MD Samantha Enstone.
