If you're looking for a venue with a difference to host an event, whether it be a birthday party, brand launch or even a wedding, there's a little place in London Bridge we think you should know about. Pedro's Wine Bar is an authentic Portuguese restaurant and bottle shop tucked away underneath a trendy railway arch on Druid Street. Here, you'll find a quaint watering hole, set across two floors.
On the ground floor, a mis-match of wooden chairs and tables offer a casual place to enjoy nibbles or a sit down meal, with a lounge area towards the rear of the space. Here, you'll find comfy seating, a white granite bar and atmospheric spot to enjoy a drink. Meanwhile, the glass fronted facade allows natural light to flood, complementing the industrial lamps and overhead lighting dotted around.
Upstairs, guests will find the mezzanine where reclaimed wooden floors and a textured metal ceiling come together to curate an effortlessly cool vibe. If planning a seated dining experience, this area is perfect and can cater for 100 people. Then, take the party downstairs and outside, where you'll find a small faux grass area and heaters. Combined, all spaces together can host around 150 people.
In terms of food and drink, the team at Pedro's are incredibly passionate about giving you the best that Portuguese cuisine has to offer. Sharing style works best, with dishes such as charcuterie boards with slices of Serrano ham, salame toscano, gorgonzola and Terra Nostra, sourdough bread with creamy burrata and, of course, plenty of Portuguese black olives.
There's also a tasty-sounding selection of main dishes such as the Bifana Special with sliced pork slow cooked in white wine and served on a toasted Portuguese white bun and topped with cheese and fried potatoes. To top it all off, the team will be happy to help you choose a selection of wines for your event, drawing on their rich knowledge of vinos from across the country.
