To the showcase to see the new refurbished
Kings Place! It’s been 10 years since the
King's Cross opened its doors, and to celebrate, the venue gave a full refurb to its popular Battlebridge Room this summer. Well, now it’s open and you’re invited to explore the new space next week.
The facelifted room (which now holds a 400 capacity) features a private, covered terrace overlooking the canal (we’re immediately thinking drinks receptions). The blank canvas space also makes it ideal for event bookers to personalise their events, adding another lever of versatility and multipurpose to the venue.
Working with the room’s existing bright and spacious qualities, new features in the space include a wooden dance floor area, 75 inch digital screens and coloured LED lighting. We particularly like the new copper fret-cut metal bar, which not only creates a softer and more inviting feel to the space, but a distinctive cool look, too.
The refurbishment was part of a wider investment in excess of £1.5 million by Green & Fortune that also included the renovation of on-site Rotunda Bar and Restaurant. A semi-enclosed terrace space with heaters has been added, enabling the area to be used year-round. The refurbishment has further enhanced the bar, elevated the private dining space, and revamped the terrace garden, which is a popular summer party venue.
