Each week, we pick one of favourite venues and explain why it’s made the cut
With nearly 3,000sq m of space to play with on a campus of almost an acre, this
industrial-feel venue has nine large, contemporary rooms leading off a central courtyard and restaurant. All spaces have high ceilings and are kept clear to provide a blank canvas for a range of events, be they glitter-ball parties or teambuilding days.
What’s so good about it?
As well as being a venue,
The Worx has its own gallery, which can be used as a dedicated space for exhibitions. It also doubles as a space for photo and film shoots. It has nine studios, so lighting, stage and AV equipment are all easily arranged for private events.
Why do bookers love it?
It’s big. Hired exclusively, the venue can host parties for up to 1,000 guests. Deeming itself a ‘space to create’, its conferencing clients include Rolls-Royce, Google and Yves Saint Laurent.
