Show event attendees the latest that London has to offer at Farringdon’s The Postal Museum when it opens this summer. Guests can expect high-end event spaces as well as more interactive elements of the museum.
The headline offering is the subterranean Mail Rail depot – a blank canvas space with vaulted brick arches and room for 275 standing guests or 140 seated. Bookers can take events up a gear by adding on 15-minute rides for all on the once-secret Post Office railway, found 70ft below the capital’s streets. At 100 years old, it’s got plenty of history and works well for immersive events.
We also really like the idea of the private tours that can be added on to functions, from a whip-round of the highlights to a curator-led walk around tailored to the group’s interests.
Outside, there’s a light and bright courtyard decorated with a living foliage wall. It’s all set up for private barbecues, cocktail receptions and summer parties.
