This summer, London Transport Museum has been hard at work to spruce up its events offering with a newly overhauled Cubic Theatre.
Due for completion in the first week of September, the refurb of the 121-capacity screening room includes replacing and improving all the technology in the tiered space. It will then have True 4k DCI cinema projection, meaning it’s on the same standard as high-end cinemas and well suited to film screenings and presentations.
Creston Airmedia technology for connecting laptops and phones, 7.1 Dolby Digital surround sound and a lectern with a gooseneck microphone complete the offering.
It’s also turning one of the walls in the foyer area into a video screen, so that event organisers have increased branding opportunities during pre-event registration and catering breaks.
