You should head to
Chiltern Firehouse for its new Christmas-themed ‘Firehouse Feasts’. The André Balazs-owned restaurant will serve up a festive menu for groups between eight and 12 people.
How does a whole glazed duck sound? Or what about a Wiltshire black truffle and champagne risotto? Perhaps slow-cooked salmon tickles your fancy? The menu reflects the restaurant’s North American heritage using traditional British ingredients and techniques. Expect truffle cream potatoes as an indulgent side and a boozy Bourbon pecan pie for dessert.
Your evening will start in the heated courtyard, where champagne, charcuterie and oysters will be served fireside. Before your main meal begins, munch on pre-dinner snack of the likes of venison rolls with smoked ketchup, and Chiltern’s signature crab doughnuts.
You can choose between sitting at the Kitchen Table for a chance to see executive chef Nuno Mendes and new head chef Richard Foster cook in action, or the more intimate Garden Room. Menus start from £125pp and will be available from 23 November (including Christmas Day).
