The NT’s rooftop venue, The Deck, releases festive packages

Following The Deck’s relaunch this September, the National Theatre’s rooftop terrace is ready for Christmas. 

Rooftop terrace? In winter? You must think we’re joking. But The Deck’s sliding glass screens allow the heat to stay inside, without ruining that panoramic view. If you dare face the cold for even better views, why not take the opportunity to decorate the terrace nicely? Or maybe encourage guests to wrap up and have a chilled drinks reception outside?  

The venue can seat 100 for dinner or host 170 standing, with catering done by executive head chef, Simon Flint. Hand-crafted cocktails made by the mixologists of Understudy (the National Theatre’s successful bar concept) will also be on offer. If you’re after entertainment, you can get it personalised from the in-house team.
