Jack Solomons Club hosted an opening party in December with cocktails, jazz and canapés – and is now ready to host exclusive takeovers for 390 standing or 150 seated.
The entrance to the subterranean venue (inspired by the legacy of Jack Solomons, who owned a boxing gym here in the 40s and 50s) is found through a discreet door in a deli storefront on Great Windmill Street. We loved the old-school glamour vibe downstairs – complete with velvet furnishings, low lighting and red leather walls.
Private events can be hosted any night of the week and prices are based on minimum spend agreements. Choose a selection of cocktails from the whisky-centred tipple list, and serve with bar snacks and canapés like crab croquettes. Live music acts are a must: kick things off with talented trumpeter Jay Phelps and his jazz band, then follow up with a DJ set.
