The new luxury venue has made a strong first impression. It combines a convenient location (10 minutes from Heathrow and 45 minutes from central London) with a backdrop of 450 acres of greenery, and 120 acres of lakes within that.
Events are hosted in the lodge – a large indoor open space with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the surrounding waters and greenery. Everything is finished to a high standard with oak interiors and a marble topped bar.
When the weather plays ball, you can seat up to 120 guests, or host a standing reception for 250 with drinks on the slate terrace outside. The option of a marquee or a tipi in the grounds will take your numbers up to 500 people.
Of course, the lawns and lakes are suited to activities too – a dragon-boat racing challenge sounds like a particularly fun choice. Other teambuilding days include more relaxing options, from fishing to golfing and archery.
