With Crispin at Studio Voltaire, you can get the best of both worlds. A sumptuously cool, artsy venue to host your event, sure to impress all your guests? Tick, thanks to Studio Voltaire, one of the UK's leading not–for–profit arts organisations, based in a Victorian former mission hall in Clapham. And, there's no need to scrimp on the food or find outside catering, either, thanks to Crispin's in-house restaurant which offers 50 covers, a counter bar and a modern European menu.
The space can cater for up to an impressive 400 people, making it a fantastic option for corporate events, wedding receptions, networking events, brand launches or anything your heart desires, really. For seated events, 200 people can be catered for, as well as 50 in the outdoor area which is a lovely option in the summer months.
For drinks receptions and standing affairs, let the wait staff flit around the room with armfulls of delicious canapes, delighting guests with the likes of game sausage roll and spiced pear chutney, alongside smoked salmon pate and pickles with sourdough. There's also plenty of mouth-watering vegetarian options, including radicchio with fennel, navel orange and radish, as well as stilton croquettes with walnut ketchup.
Seated events are catered for with a set, sharing menu to make organising that little bit easier. First, the table can share a mix of Gordal olives, with Dusty Knuckle bread and brown butter, as well as
Stilton croquettes and Cobble Lane charcuterie. To start, guests can choose between burrata with delica pumkin, sage and balsamic, as well as radicchio with fennel, radish, naval orange and nasturtium. Mains look like braised lamb with Jerusalem artichoke, anchovy mayo and mint, alongside fried Cornish mids and aioli. Followed by crowd-pleasing brown butter cake with crème fraiche and spiced pear.
