If you're looking for the right space to host a team of up to 21 people, the rustic, central dining table in the middle of the restaurant would be perfect. Here, everyone can sit together banquet-style and enjoy a selection of sharing plates. Equally, if you'd rather plan an informal drinks reception with cocktails and nibbles, the velvet, jewel-toned seating area at the rear of the restaurant can accomodate up to 25 people.
For an all-out shindig, opt for exclusive hire of the whole dining room, which has 55 seats in total and can easily be combined with the stylish lounge, to open the space up and offer the chance to mingle and socialise. Alternatively, the Riding House also boasts an atmospheric private dining room, The Stables, which seats just 14 and is a magical place for an intimate supper.
The chefs have whipped up a Christmas menu especially for the festive season, which is perfect for group dining. There are a few different iterations, but the feast menu includes a sharing selection of small and large plates such as roast turkey, apple and herb stuffing, creamed corn and cranberry sauce, alongside halibut with celeriac purée, capers and crispy sage, as well as sweets like sticky toffee brioche doughnuts.
