The hotel's events suites are located on Level 16 which means that both benefit from stunning views of the city's skyline, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows which also flood the spaces with light. The Sky Loft is a wide, open space with a contemporary feel and 'blank canvas' vibe, perfect for adding your own festive decorations. Here, you can host 120 guests, but if you're hoping for a whole-company event, the Sky Gallery has an even bigger capacity of 350. The Sky Loft is also decorated in a muted style, giving you the freedom to make the space your own. Think minimalist seating, dark, patterned flooring and an industrial-vibe ceiling.
As for food, the Indus team can cater to almost anything you need when it comes to menu types. Canapes and bowl food are perfect for drinks receptions, while buffets and three-course meals work well for a sit-down event. On the website you can check out a few of the sample menus to get a flavour of what's to come, with three different options depending on budgets and tastes.
For example, on the gold menu, guests can choose between starters such as the Lamb Seek Kebab with lamb mince cooked with onion, peppers, coriander, and house blend of garam masala in clay oven, as well as Tandoori Salmon Tikka with Scottish salmon pieces marinated with ginger, garlic and homemade tandoori spices.
As for main dishes, we like the sound of the Butter Paneer Masala with marinated Indian cottage cheese cooked in a creamy cashew and red pepper tomato gravy, finished with a delicious coconut and mango cheesecake with berry compote for dessert.
