This Christmas, celebrate magically at the beautiful Corinthia hotel in London, just a short stroll from the River Thames on Whitehall Place. During the festive season, the hotel comes to life with glistening lights, welcoming you in to soak up the spirit. The Corinthia has perfected Christmas, with every detail taken care of from the decadent dining right through to lively, grand celebrations.
There are a few different spaces throughout the Corinthia where you could host your Christmas party, including The Northall, led by executive chef André Garrett, who has created festive menus that celebrate the finest locally sourced ingredients. The festive menu includes starters of soft boiled Clarence Court eggs with fermented barley, celeriac and chestnut with black truffle, and aged Lake District farm beef tartare with matchstick potatoes. There are three main courses on offer, including a free range Norfolk Bronze turkey with sausage stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast vegetables and potatoes. Last but not least it's a chestnut and blackcurrant meringue or milk chocolate, kumquat and vanilla yule log.
Another event spot for the foodies is Kerridge's Bar & Grill, led by Tom Kerridge's team. Head chef Tom Childs has created a marvellous menu, featuring bold flavours and cherished traditions. The festive set menu includes two choices for each course, beginning with torched Cornish mackerel and rillette with oyster mayonnaise and sweet pickled cucumber or cepes with girolles, chestnuts and herb dumplings. The main course is either a short rib beef bourguignon with clotted cream mash and onion rings or a pheasant pithivier with peppered swede and game sauce. Dessert is a simple egg custard tart with nutmeg ice cream or sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream ice cream.
