Searching for a wedding venue in London? There’s a wealth of choice out there for couples seeking a city wedding, but this stunning Livery Hall is certainly one of the most impressive. Nestled in the City of London, between Barbican, Farringdon and St Paul’s tube stations, Founders’ Hall is a rare venue where both contemporary edge and endless heritage come together.
There are two main rooms available to hire for weddings: The Livery Hall and The Parlour. The Livery Hall on the lower ground floor offers views of the priory garden, and is able to host 75 guests for a seated reception, or 100 standing. This eye-catching space boasts grand columns, bright red carpets, stained-glass windows and a flexible seating set-up.
While The Parlour on the ground floor is a smaller space able to host up to 20 for a wedding breakfast, or 60 for a more casual drinks reception. You could also use this room as a pre-dinner space for drinks and canapes.
Weddings at Founders’ Hall are taken care of by event caterers and venue management company Life’s Kitchen. The team work closely with the bride and groom to create a wedding plan that fits their exact requirements and vision. From catering to florists, photographers and DJs, they’ll organise every aspect of your big day for you. Equally, you can choose from their list of trusted suppliers if you’d rather take certain aspects of your wedding into your own hands.
An example wedding package might include a three-course wedding breakfast, drinks (including wine, prosecco and softs), candelabras on each table, crockery and linen, a wedding planner, and a tasting for the couple. Every package can be tailored to you, as can the menu! From canapes to three-course meals to wine pairings, their talented in-house chef team believe that the food at your wedding should be nothing short of exceptional.
